How long does it take to enroll my child? Is there a waitlist?
Normally there is a waitlist. A slot often comes open within 3-6 months. You will be notified when an opening is available in their age group. Once open, enrollment takes about 1 to 3 days. If you submit an online application, you are not automatically put on the waitlist. Please call or send an email to request being added to the list.

How early should I apply for a place in the fall semester?
After graduation of the 5-year-olds in early June, there are generally a few openings for the summer and openings for the fall. The earlier you apply so that your name is on the waitlist, the better.

Does the application require a deposit?
We do not require a deposit.

Does my child have to be potty trained?
Yes. Children must be able to use underwear (no diapers or pullups) and pull their own clothes up and down to go to the bathroom. We are not licensed for children who are not potty-trained.

Are meals and snacks included in tuition?
Yes. A breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are included for all children.

Are there discounts if I have more than one child enrolled in TDCC? 
Yes. If more than one child from a family is enrolled, the weekly fee is $90/week for the first child and $60/week for each additional sibling.

What payment options are available?
Payment options are weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Your payment plan is agreed to by the Director when yourchild is admitted.

What type of tuition assistance is available?
There are vouchers available to qualified applicants through the TN Dept. of Human Services. The application is online. Click here to go to application. The TDCC Director will give families assistance in this process as needed.
